Ginger Snaps played the festival circuit from August 2000.

It had a wide US release in 2001.

Finally to confuse matters more it was shot in 1999.

explains things. I'll let it stand if its first theatrical screenings were 2000.

I was suprised how many good films came out 2000. A lot of crap as well (get carter remake and supernova being two of the biggest turds.) Had enough for an almost-ran list i might do later at some point.
