It's SEVERELY underrated. It totally divorces itself from the original franchise unlike zombies first go which has callbacks. It has some incredible visuals at play and a much darker storyline. I also like McDowell's Loomis metamorphosis from the first film into full blown self publicising arsehole.

Also debated whether to include something wicked this way comes which isn't especially A Halloween movie in spite of being set in October.
