Can't go wrong at that price and even a slight improvement is still an improvement. Hopefully a new transfer comes around though as it is a great film and I'd love to upgrade at some point although its not essential right now

I bought both Grosse Pointe Blank and High Fidelity and, like you say, even if it's slightly better than the DVD, the price is good.
keirarts and Criterion7 like this.

I relented and snapped up High Fidelity for 5.56. Its a good price for a great little movie... still sorely tempted to upgrade my SAY ANYTHING dvd to the blu-ray...

***edit**** and sod it I did!

Zoverstocks were selling it so it should get here before grosse pointe blank. I'm going to watch them back to back as i'm sure GPB is an unnoficcial sequel to thr cameron crowe film.

I'd never even heard of Say Anything until you mentioned it earlier on this thread but it sounds right up my street, High Priority on Lovefilm it is

Say Anything is probably my favourite Cusack film and certainly Cameron Crowe's best. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. It still disgusts me to think it went straight to video here in the UK.

If you like Cusack Ant, check out Better Off Dead too. It's wacky and off the wall but great fun.

I don't really have a problem with that blu-ray cover.

I don't have a problem with the cover either, though it is the typical/iconic image of Serpico.
