The amount of times I rented that film on video.
The guy in the shop thought I was a screwball!
I LOVE Christine but man am I so annoyed that TT are releasing it.
Bare bones and over priced. I will have to give it a miss sadly.

It deserves the Criterion treatment!

Yeah it's annoying. Think of what a great release Scream Factory would make of this.

A week later, it will release Badlands (Terrence Malick, 1973) and The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp (Michael Powell/Emeric Pressburger, 1943). On May 26th, it will release A Man Escaped (Robert Bresson, 1956) and Monsieur Verdoux (Charles Chaplin, 1947).

Yay for The Blob!
Apart from The Tree of Life, Badlands is the only Terence Malik film which hasn't been released on Blu-ray by the Criterion Collection, so that may well be a preorder – it's a brilliant film. I recently watched the ITV BD of The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp but was surprised by the lack of extra features, so that's another definite purchase.

Actually, I'll probably buy all of the titles in that announced batch.

In fairness to TT they will probably get the bonus material from the dvd. But it won't matter because the scalpers will buy up the bulk of the copies and then sony will make sure no other terretory on the planet will be able to release it because apparently it wont sell enough copies to justify any major release.

I'll be sticking with my special edition dvd and upscaling.
