Completely forgot about these (all English friendly I think):

Ilsa - The Mad Butcher Blu-ray (Germany)

More Franco blu's in the same series:

http://www.amazon.de/Jack-Ripper-Dir...d_bxgy_d_img_z (already released)

"Francos Jack-the-Ripper-Variante sieht auf Blu-ray vorzüglich aus. Ascot Elite Home Entertainment hat sich mit der Neuveröffentlichung sichtlich Mühe gegeben. Mit der Blu-ray bzw. DVD beginnt der Vertrieb eine Reihe mit dem Titel „Jess Franco Golden Goya Collection“."

"Franco's version of Jack the Ripper looks excellent on Blu-ray. Ascot Elite Home Entertainment has clearly put some serious effort in this new release. Thishis Blu-ray (or DVD) is the first of a series of releases called "Jess Franco Goya Golden Collection"."

Are the Ilsa movies worth a watch? A couple are on YouTube, and I've read about them being like the pinnacle of exploitation cinema

Why don't you give them a watch then.

Btw there's another entry in the Ascot Elite Franco blu collection already released (only in Austria because of the XXX version included):

DIE MARQUISE VON SADE aka Das Bildnis der Doriana Gray (both soft and hard version included it seems)

D&T Mailorder Shop
I'm guessing She Wolf Of The SS is the starting point?

Yes.

Here's the chronological order:

Ilsa: She Wolf of the SS (1975)
Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Oil Sheiks (1976)
Ilsa the Tigress of Siberia (1977)

Greta - Haus ohne Männer (1977) aka Ilsa, the Wicked Warden (1977) ("Unofficial Ilsa film")

Strange that only Warner France is announcing this?

Limited numbered metal pack

Content:

Blu of the film
Dvd of the film
Booklet/digibook? (18 or 24? pages)
A magnet of the poster for the film

Blu bonus:interview with Roman Polanski (French exclusive)
Dvd bonus: trailer(s?) of the film

Audio:French/English
Subs: French (removable?)

Supposedly all region?

Le Bal des vampires [Blu-ray]: Amazon.fr: Jack MacGowran, Roman Polanski, Alfie Bass, Jessie Robins, Sharon Tate, Ferdy Mayne: DVD & Blu-ray

Edit: just noticed this was already mentioned on the previous pages...

Really, really want this - it's one of my favourite films. BUT I was stung over Maniac with its lack of CD soundtrack and forced subs.

I'll likely buy this anyway, as I doubt they'll skimp on the extras, but forced subs would be a major pain in the rear.

Kino has announced Bava's The Whip and the Body for a December release. Going off their previous Bava releases, an Arrow release will probably not be far behind.

Maybe one of you crazy Facebook kids could pose the question to Arrow, and maybe get some confirmation from them...
