I don't think it's been released yet. Also, you have to purchase through Twilight Time's website (they're limited runs after all). You can sometimes find them on eBay and/or Amazon marketplace, but as the titles start to go oop, expect prices to double, treble etc.

Here's an example of what The Big Heat (a recent release) is going for at the moment (remember it's barebones): The Big Heat [Blu-ray]: Amazon.co.uk: Glenn Ford, Gloria Grahame, Jocelyn Brando, Alexander Scourby, Jeanette Nolan, Lee Marvin, Fritz Lang: Film & TV

Add to that already hefty price, postage costs, and a customs and Royal Mail handling fee (well, for us poor down-trodden UK folk anyway), and I don't think I'll bother.

I can actually see all these titles being re-released in a year or so by the parent studios with a nice compliment of extras etc. anyway.

Isn't it the case that Twilight Time have it written that they will have exclusivity for 3 years?

Sure I read that for the Fright Night release at least, so don't expect this anytime soon from anyone else.

And as the TT Fright Night was such a really nice quality print, I might just go for this as (looks arround) I prefer this to GAR's original (Runs off and hides)

Edit : Oh, and have you seen the going rate for TT's Fright Night? Amazon.com: Fright Night (1985) [Blu-ray]: Movies & TV

It could well be the case, I'm not that clued up on the company to be honest.

3 years is nothing though, especially when you consider that Fright Night has already been out for almost a year. Plus, there's always the chance that some of these titles will be released in other territories.

You'd have to be pretty mad to pay that - especially for a film like Fright Night!

I don't prefer it, but I certainly watch it more than the original

That is ridiculous, who in their right mind would pay that for Fight Night, I like the film but I wouldn't pay anymore than a tenner for it!

Edit: no idea why my comment has ended up in the middle of your quote?

Only in North America. Sony could easily release Fright Night and NOTLD '90 in any other territory they wish. Which I don't doubt they'll do at some point.

If someone could tip me the wink, before this release info is made public (whenever that may be) I'd be eternally grateful.

Then I could flog my TT editions of Fright Night and NOTLD90 for a ton each before anyone else knew Sony UK were releasing them with extras for a tenner.
Daemonia and Baseball Fury like this.

I'm not a fan of Twilight Time anyway. £30 for barebones blu-rays of generally mediocre films isn't my sort of thing.
George Romero wrote the screenplay and also produced I believe.

The only way this TT release will be of interest is if its got the gore reinstated, otherwise my dvd with the savini commentary will suffice.

I'll be getting it. Extras or none.

I'm tempted too. I've never seen it before and a blu-ray release is always a good introduction to a film.

Looking at the Night Of The Living Dead post on Twilight Time's facebook page, the blu-ray will actually have an isolated score, commentary with Tom Savini, and the theatrical trailer. The documentary is still missing though.
