Mr glass is 1/2 empty! Think positive! (Even though I'm not).

And will it be limited?

I was wondering about those myself and would guess it's limited edition.

Excuse the internet translator!

As Koch announced media just at Cinefacts, they are the third part of the army of darkness in Germany on Blu-ray and DVD release dance the devil series in April.

This, according to first information, there will be three versions. A DVD with the Director's cut, a Blu-ray with the Director's cut and an ultimate Edition with 6 discs (2 Blu-ray, 4 DVDs). In the ultimate edition there will be Director's cut, the US theatrical cut and the euro cinema version on DVD and high definition version on Blu-ray. Still, there are plenty of bonus material (interviews, audio commentary, behind the scenes, Featurette on the effects, etc.) and also the US-TV-versions with alternative scenes.

The versions should appear on 26 April 2013. The MSRP of the ultimate Edition will be at 49.95 euros. As soon as more details and Packshots of the ultimate, we deliver to them. Below only an image of the single disc version.

Found out that Koch's Darkman will also include the unaired 30min tv pilot from 1992. It can actually be seen on youtube. No wonder they never aired it, it's terrible.

The Ultimate Edition of Army of Darkness sounds very good and is a must buy. I hope the packaging is good so I can put it next to my Necronomicon set without it looking crappy in comparison.

Koch have already announced that it will be a BD boxset of the Darkman trilogy, and extras will include EPK interviews/BTS footage as well as the failed TV pilot (in better quality than the various bootlegs circulating).

Just pre-ordered THIEF OF BAGDAD (1924 silent film starring Douglas Fairbanks) and HIGHLANDER 2 RENEGADE VERSION (from Olive), both upcoming US blu rays. Bought them from importcds.com, worked out at £10.76 each including postage. Without postage they together came to under £15 so no customs concerns either! I'm impressed with importcds lately, they're becoming the new planetaxel in my eyes and are often quite a lot cheaper than amazon.com, e.g. these two on amazon.com came to £34!

I hope thats not the final artwork for THIEF OF BAGDAD as there's some really beautiful artwork out there for this film
