In fairness HOUSE OF WHIPCORD is the only real classic in the redemption set. COMEBACK and SCHIZO are good but not great and DIE SCREAMING MARIANNE is actually pretty bad. No FRIGHTMARE which is the best of walkers films imo.

Unless your a real hardcore collector of british horror, or like me had a job and plenty of cash at time of release, the walker stuff probably isnt priority purchase material.

I'm a big Walker fan, although agree on your opinions of the above films in a lot of respects, plus Frightmare is certainly my favourite of his. I also have the ABUK Walker DVD coffin boxset, so am in no hurry to upgrade.

I would love to see a BD release of House of Long Shadows, though!

As would we all!

I also have the coffin set, and with my recent troubles (total inability to land a job) I certainly wouldent be making the walker blu's a priority. When I bought them I had a wage AND amazon money pouring in. Now i'm on benefits and trying to turn the amazon thing into a business so splashing out on these things isnt an option. Glad I did buy it when I had the chance though as it keeps my redemption numbered spines reletively complete!

Those Walker Blu's are a must B!
Sorry K,have to disagree!

The only below par film from all of them released so far is Marrianne.

As for House of Long Shadows, the German BD is well worth a punt, but I thought last year's dvd was great too!

Hopefully Redemption will release a second wave of Walker films with
HOUSE OF LONG SHADOWS
FLESH AND BLOOD SHOW
FRIGHTMARE
HOME BEFORE MIDNIGHT
COOL IT CAROL

I watched both anime version and live action movie. I prefer live action movie version more.
