Will do mate. What did you think of public enemies? I thought it was pretty damn good and even though it was on for 2 and a half hours it certainly didnt seem it. Depp was good too, prefered him in this to his jack sparra incarnation, which i just couldnt get on with at all.

After hearing arguements for and against this flick, its about time i checked it out for myself.
£12 Plus p+p,and its the limited snuff edition, signed by cast and crew apparently.

Hmm...

id be careful of that order it seems very unlikely that its an original!

the snuff edition goes for about £40 normally as there are only 1000 of them the other day i paid £60 for the snuff edition of the first AU

if it is as it says then you've made a great buy and if you dont like it you could sell it for £40 easy!!

A lot of people have said there trash, whilst others have said they are brutal beyond belief and very shocking,so its about time i found out for meself, and it was relatively cheap, considering penance was selling for 40 nicker!!:ack:

All three are shot in an amateur way, and don't really have storylines to speak of just scenes of torture, violence, murder, sex and degradation brought about by two guys, who think everything they do is fun - don't get me wrong I think they're worth seeing for any horror fan, as they certainly raise the bar! Mordum is the sickest of the three - I just about managed to get through it in one sitting.

If the violence appeals, but you're looking for more of a story rather than 'footage' try Vogel's Redsin Tower, still pretty extreme but without the amateur snuff element - still low budget though.

Penance was selling for £40?! :ack: Regular or Snuff? I picked the regular version up for about £15 off eBay a few years ago, but you can get all the AU films direct from the Toetag site.

£60!!! Shit, you must really love those movies! :ack::D

I think the AU films are important milestones in the horror time-line, but not worthy of £60! :p

btw bitchslicer, have you seen Vogel's new Murder Collection Vol. 1?

Wow! Weird, we asked each other the same question there! ;)

I came across MC by accident and decided to buy it from the Toetag site, cost me about £12 inc. postage. I've only seen it once and I didn't like it, much. I'll have to watch it again to see if it has grown on me. Knowing these things sell well I actually bought two copies, and sold the other one on eBay for £25 - £13 profit, which paid for my copy! :D:woot::ack: Due to them being banned over here, people tend to like buying them from UK sellers... also I had it on for a 7 day listing and it sold within 3 hours!

Ah, I'm into all kinds of stuff, me. :D

I've been aching to sample 'Gateway Meat', but have not seen that yet.

A couple of indy faves of mine are: Malatesta's Carnival of Blood, which I have yet to get a proper release of and which stars Hervé Villechaize (Nick Nack in the Man with the Golden Gun!) and scondly Incarnation, which is a collection of short films distributed by Cinema Abbatoir, when it arrived the DVD came wrapped in butcher's paper tied with string, which was a nice touch.

I am also a fan of German Director Andreas Bethmann, who directed the likes of the Exitus Interruptus films as well as Rossa Venezia, and the Vegetarierinnen films. All comprise a mix of sadistic torture, gore, and softcore pornography (the latter film being mainly porn!) - so are right up my street ;)

Another fairly underground Director you may have heard of is Timo Rose, who helped spawn the career of Olaf Ittenbach; Ittenbach used to do the gore effects in Rose's movies before he started his own films. Rose's highlights include Barricade and Space Wolf, but his films are pretty bare bones budget wise, he tends to re-use the same cast for his movies and it does tend to look like a group of mates messing about sometimes.

The R1 Unearthed label has some good underground titles such as Bone Sickness, Red Room, and Iskanov's films (Nails, Visions of Suffering and Philosophy of a Knife) as well as some German splatter such as Hunting Creatures and Das Komabrutale Duell (which is nasty and includes a foetus kicking scene :ack:)

Synapse films have some good indy horror's on their label too. Home Sick, Header, and Nail Gun Massacre are a few I would recommend.

There's a lot more out there, it's just knowing where to look sometimes! :):D
