The uncut (full colour) version of Kill Bill Vol 1 is one of my all-time favourite films.

it bugs me that miramax didn't think western audiences could stomach the amount of blood so insisted on turning it to black and white, i would love to see the full uncut japanese version but it's just too expensive.

The full Japanese version is phenomenal. The complete unedited fight scene and Sofie Fatale's second arm removal can also be seen on YouTube.

Here's a Screen Comparison.

yeah full colour fight had more footage.Got to wonder if it will ever see the light of day in the west.

Ok the full uncut colour one could be awesome.

just had a look on ebay, someone selling both of them for 28.99 but not the boxset versions. i may have to think before spending that much.

Believe me, it is.

Vol 2 was also longer though by very little (less than a minute). Mostly very minor shots of some of Michael Parks's women during the Mexican sequence.

I got rid of my japanese boxset of Vol 1 not so long ago.I have faith it will be released here sometime before I die.

I just seen The Nameless, its a cool spainsh thriller. The twist ending was pretty cool.
Only thing I didnt like was it lacked the atmosphere thats in most Spanish supernatural movies.
