I did notice it was Elstree Hill.
There's a US release that's only about three quid. I wonder if that might be better.

That's from Alpha. Probably quite poor as well. Every other film of their's i have is.

I do like their use of artworks though i must admit.

I actually got MANIAC recently LOL - though i bought the RIFFTRAX DVD of it... very short film, good thing is you can watch it with or without the riffs... So, if you want to own it, and not sure if you'd enjoy it this could be a good alternative though it is Region 1.

I quite like Maniac although that version you posted is pretty bad quality.
It's really bizarre for its time. Incredible overacting, crazy characters, Poe references topped off with a very brief bit of nudity and title cards that attempt to define all the different types of madness (which is how it got away with all the on screen insanity) oh and also a man eating a cat's eyeball.
Beyond strange.
If that sounds like your cup of tea then give it a go.
