I wouldn't go as far as dire but it was pretty weak. The cooler box bit cracked me up. Wedding is my favourite though.

What I don't want, however, is it to actually be a slash-and-kill movie that jettisons the premise for a series of 'inventive' and repetitive murders

well if it's done by blumhouse, my expectations are kinda high

I also think it looks good, so expectations are high.
