As for decades...the 50s are full of SciFi movies. I've always thought of SciFi as a part of the Horror genre. What do you ladies and gents think?

I think as long as it's got some clear horror to it's fine. Invasion type movies should be fine. Then of course you have science experiments gone wrong type movies that should be fine.

I think if I were to make one, it would be stretching what is generally considered 'horror' to the very limits!

I'm beginning to think we all may have to if we want to do a 40s list. It seems like a bone dry decade. The Wolf Man is the only horror film from the 40s I've seen, and there is only a handful of others I can think of that I know I want to see.

I can scrape together a decent top 5, all of which are generally considered 'horror':

01. I Walked with a Zombie (1943)
02. Dead of Night (1945)
03. The 7th Victim (1943)
04. The Wolf Man (1941)
05. Cat People (1942)

The genre lines start to bur a bit after that, though.
