Child's Play 3 was the first one I saw. Which has unfortunately become infamous for very sad reasons. I can recall the Child's Play VHS films becoming unavailable from retail stores because of the Bulger murder. They were never banned but shops simply stopped stocking them. Seen a couple of the later films and found them far too comedic and silly. Nowadays I would only rate the original Child's Play and it's first sequel as those that are well worth owning. Perhaps the latest film would sway my opinion but I strongly doubt it.

I saw the first one when the BBC showed it in early 90s and got hooked I thought it was brilliant then followed them in order, was lucky enough to see the third one before it was banned, the bride and seed of Chucky were more comical but still entertaining.
