Jaws Of Satan. 1981.

A priest who's ancestors were cursed battles Satan who has taken form of a giant snake.

People believe that snakes are a serpent of hell so who why shouldn't the devil himself possess one, Bob Claver who usually works on TV series maybe wanted to brash out onto films and be taken seriously as a horror film maker and was given this and he did try his dam hardest to make it work. Frtiz Weaver plays the man of the church who looses his faith and finds restoration by battling a giant snake. This isn't great but also not that bad and to be honest it's way better than Sharkexorcist.

Night Screams. 1987.

A local teen throws a house party with some friends while two escaped killers from the nearby asylum decide to crash the party.

We got a bunch of twenty something year old adults playing teens, one would rather watch porn while his girlfriend is sat next to him trying her best to distract him...if that is her best then he may as well continue to watch the television. This was well slow paced and when the killings started I was rooting for the bad guys by the end, the acting is not great to the point I think the actors actually forgot they were to be in a serious horror film.

Oculus. 2013.

A woman tries to prove that the murders committed by her brother were in fact down to a supernatural force possessing a mirror.

This one I have watched a few times and seems to get better with every viewing, a haunted mirror has been done before with Amityville: Next Generation and a bit lower budget than this film, this does play on your mind as to what is real and what isn't , total mind f#ck.

Karen Gillian and Brenton Thwaites play the siblings Kaylie and Tim who set out to prove what happened in their childhood. From start to finish this has a good steady pace and never gets dull or boring just more entertaining as it goes. with some good tense and suspense moments nicely crafted in.

Prom Night II. 1987.

In 1957 Mary Lou Maloney is crowned Prom Queen and is killed by her jilted boyfriend. 30 years later she is seeking revenge when her jilted boyfriend is now principal of the school and possesses the body of a student.

The first one was a slasher movie and now this one goes down the supernatural route...have I been watching more supernatural films this time round or am I loosing my marbles?? back to topic...Never upset a girl or she may go Carrie on you, this film seemed to borrowed that element of horror. There is some humour in this but it doesn't go over the top and a nice view of the girls locker and shower time, think the ending could have been played out differently, this was entertaining.
