I wasn't overly keen on the Abbott and Costello films, but would like to have them for the sake of completion when watching all the Universal horror movies.

Dollman vs Demonic Toys Brick Bardo heads to Pahoota to meet Ginger, a nurse who was shrunk down by an alien. They in turn team up with a cop to prevent a demon from rising in a toy warehouse. Pretty decent, rather fun seeing full moon make actual life size vents and stuff and overall a fun film. I'm wondering if the film 2000 dvd is cut, because there are some hard edits throughout. Excellent another enjoyable film from Don Coscarelli, all a bit bonkers and a little confusing but as I said highly enjoyable. Watching stuff like this, phantasm and bubba ho tep Don really should be more recognised. 8.5/10 Next up more Clancy Brown with Hellbenders. Last edited by trebor8273; 5th October 2018 at 07:52 PM. |

Tonight's film is one of the most underrated and unfairly scalded horror films of all time.

I forgot to give The Mummy's Curse a rating. Gonna go with a 5/10 This is insane. Not only do I have both this and a Dr Who marathon at the same time but now I've bought even more horror films, including Blu Ray's for the Original Hills Have Eyes (old DVD was damaged since I purchased it, still watchable but annoying) and the first two Texas Chainsaw Massacres. I simply couldn't resist. Screw it: I know its supposed to be a film per day but I'm gonna watch the final Mummy film with Abbott and Costello tonight (I watched Curse this afternoon) so I can replace its original viewing slot tomorrow with The Hills Have Eyes. Consider it a late wild-card entry as it wasn't on my list and I hadn't thought about it until I saw it today and just had to buy it. I was already planning to watch TCM 1 but now that I've got the amazing sequel on Blu-Ray, I'm gonna have to work it in as well somehow... Hey, its a horror marathon, any extra films to up the gore and terror works right? (the other ones I bought today were all the Conjurings, Lights Out, It Follows and Don't Torture a Duckling, none of which I've seen) |

Halloween 3 is a film I never tire of. Now who's going to give us a UK BD release featuring the below classic artwork......A Final Entertainment release along the lines of Firestarter would be most welcome!

October 4th Dark Night of the Scarecrow (1981) Four redneck types in vigilante mode kill a retarded man (attempting to hide in a scarecrow) they accuse of murdering a young girl. Soon afterwards they find out the girl is alive and has actually been mauled by a dog. Despite going through the courts, the four men, all respectable citizens apparently, get off without so much as a fine. It's not long before a mysterious scarecrow figure begins stalking and killing the men one by one. This tv movie has a gripping opening forty minutes and a lovely eerie mood and genuinely effective backwoods atmosphere. An above average cast including Charles Durning and Lane Smith, and surprisingly gruesome killings elevate this into the upper echelons of tv horror. Recommended. Halloween Night (2006) Incarcerated for butchering fellow family members an inmate of a maximum security medical establishment escapes and goes back home on Halloween night and the killings begin again. Sounds familiar? It won't be hard to believe if i say this film was made by The Asylum, a company renowned for ripping off more well known movies. But this one is a little different as it's not just a hack job, Fangoria magazine head honcho Michael Gingold is behind this one and for the most part it's rather enjoyable, very gory and full of naked lesbians ...you see now i have your attention! i wasn't lying though, Halloween Night is exploitation at it's best, both exploiting the studios by ripping off a better film and exploiting the punters with gruesome violence and T&A. Sure it's derivative but it's well made despite it's low budget, with great effects, a grotesque killer and some fun intricacies to the storyline outside the basic derisory premise. Halloween Night may not be the greatest film ever made but i find it a lot of fun and tend to give it a spin every October. |

The problem was calling it Halloween 3, So people expected another Michael Myers film, don't know if it had a different name of it would of done better but either way it's better than most films that followed the first.
