Oh,CANDYMAN's a classic B!

You're in for a treat.
One of the best horror movies of the nineties.

I was lucky enough to see it on the big screen.
This one's WELL overdue for a BD release!

I'd go as far to say that it IS the best big budget horror of the nineties!

Thanks BE,don't really know what to expect from Gutterballs, will post my findings...

I've checked and all dvd releases of Candyman seem to have the US R-rated version.

Rewind @ www.dvdcompare.net - Candyman AKA Clive Barker's Candyman (1992)

Gutterballs is a very gory violent slasher filled with unlikeable characters and harsh language. Extremely good fun though.

Cheers b, I always thought that the earlier (Cinema Club?) UK release of Candyman had the longer 'VHS version', but looks like all versions do comprise of the R Rated cut.

Got a cold,so lots of time to watch films now...

Watched:

I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997)
Well made and enjoyable teen slasher (that takes a while to get going).
I personally prefer Scream or Urban Legend though...

I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998)
Cliché-filled sequel which proved to be a lot of fun, seems some slasher fans consider this a guilty pleasure.

I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006)
Cheaply made direct to video sequel that sort of harks back to the first one (did they just rewrite the original script?) but is rather tame.
The acting is average at best as well.

Btw turned out I never watched I Still Know before, seems it was I'll Always Know!
