Btw recently watched Halloween H20.
This seemed to have difficulty deciding what it wanted to be : post-scream teen slasher film or Halloween sequel.
In the end it ended being none of the two and besides a good start and a decent Halloween style ending I found it rather boring.
You are right there B ... it was just a bunch of pretty looking young actors parading around... poor!

Will post my findings...

Btw does anyone have or know of a list of slashers (including post-Scream)?

Is it just me or do other people find that the teens in slasher films from the (pre) eighties and even early 90s are a lot more tolerable, i.e. less annoying, than teens in the 2000s??

I think that's because teens in the 2000s are more annoying.

Well, I think the teens got more clean-cut and pretty faced when "Scream" hit big- though I still liked the bunch in the original, but it got really bad in the likes of "Valentine" etc
There's even a slight tendency to the better imho, for instance with the teens in "Mandy Lane" at least acting more believable and the pack in "Carver" actually being quite likeable.

It really does look shite B! Won't be bothering with this one .. just an excuse to cash in yet more on the Scream franchise ... which got progressively worse anyway.

I personally hope this will be great...
I like 1 and 2,didn't think too much of part 3 (which had a different writer) though...
Also according to what I've read Gale is back in full force in this one.

B just the whole premise set out in the trailer looks so desperate to be cool it fails on every level.

Only my opinion of course. ..... Hope it is good for many of you fans though.
