If i was to become a moderator i would make this thread the first screen a new member is hit with upon registering. They would need a very good reason not to name their ten fave horrors or cult films.

It would eradicate the spammers as well.

Funnily enough, we tried some of those 'anti-spammer' test questions for new members at one point. Things like: 'Who is the director of The Beyond?' etc. I'm not sure how effective they were.

What annoys me is when people sign up just to peddle their wares and not contribute to the discussions, not just this forum BTW.

On a different day, I could easily have 9 of yours in my top 10 (just not Santa Sangre, which I own but haven't seen ) . . .

I'm gonna throw my toys out of the pram for a sec and present an Alternative Top 10, just to honor a bunch of great films that always get elbowed out by The Exorcist, Dawn of the Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (my no.1 in fact)....

1. Eraserhead
2. Deranged
3. Friday the 13th Part IV: The Final Chapter
4. Martin
5. Curse of the Cat People
6. Planet of The Vampires
7. The Hitcher
8. Salem's Lot
9. Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things
10. Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed
