Great list, Sharon.

A great many of my favourites on there, and it's nice to see Dead of Night at the top of the pile too.

I've created a master thread here for all the lists submitted so far.

If anyone wants to change or add to their list please let me know and I will update as necessary.

We could definitely do with some more lists too, so don't be shy and feel free to post a 'top whatever' in here so you too can go down in history as part of the "Cult Labs' Community Favourite Horror Film List: 2014 Edition" (patent pending).

Nice list, Nos. Caligari should be a lot higher though

Interesting to see that Near Dark is in your top 100 too, whilst The Lost Boys are nowhere to be seen!

Spoilsport.
Dead of Night is one of my all time favourite films, it deserves to be at the top. I thought I was going a bit mad with the portmanteaus but I love them, Quicksilver Highway nearly made it!

It's so difficult, there are so many films that I just love depending on the time of the year, it's hard to judge, plus there are things that I've seen only recently that I've loved more than I thought I would (Nightmare City) and those that keep creeping into my mind - when I think of them I want to watch them again (The Perfume of the Lady in Black, Ghosthouse). I think if I studied my list too much I would be tweaking it all the time - I shouldn't have forgot The Tenant though! I don't think I'd know what to knock off but that would be in the top twenty. There are a few that nearly made it that I just couldn't decide on like Picnic at Hanging Rock, Let the Right One In, Valerie and Her Week of Wonders...it's just too hard.
