Feel free to add more if you wish!

That goes for everyone else too... I might create a master thread of all the lists later on for ease of reference, and so people can easily identity if they want to make any changes to their list before I start to tally up the results in a few weeks time.

I have the old OOP ITV/Carlton DVD of Dead Ringers - it's nothing thrilling quality-wise but perfectly watchable.

As for The Phantom Carriage, I have the Criterion Blu-ray - which is fantastic, but I doubt will be much use to you! There is a DVD version too though. There was also a UK DVD from Tartan, but a quick scan of Amazon shows that it is OOP and very pricey. With the film being public domain, you should be able to find it on Youtube, if you want to give it a watch and aren't too fussy about the presentation.

It's nice to see that you're going through my list for stuff to watch, though.

There is a set with The Image Makers – a really interesting film in itself – which is well worth picking up if you really like The Phantom Carriage. The Phantom Carriage Sjostrom & The Image Makers Bergman DVD: Amazon.co.uk: Victor Sjöström, Hilda Borgstrom, Tore Svennberg, Anita Bjork, Elin Klinga, Lennart Hjulstrom, Ingmar Bergman: DVD & Blu-ray

I've never seen Basket Case.

Is it worth picking up the set of three or is it a case of the first one's a classic the other two are poor?

The sequels aren't as good as the first film, but the set with all three is worth buying.

The first one is excellent (in my opinion!) and whilst the second one is fun and plays with some interesting ideas, the budget constraints really show and let it down. The same can be said for the third, although this is worse in as much as a lot of the effects work (which is to be fair is one of the franchise's main draws) is rather sloppy too.

I consider them all enjoyable in their own way, but it's hard to say from a recommendation point of view really... plus, with the amount of low budget cheapie horror you watch my dear Dem, you may certainly find a lot to enjoy in there that many others won't!

EDIT: Have you ever seen Brain Damage or Frankenhooker? Chances are you'll probably like Basket Case if you like these.
