Mate craved his Salome's Last Dance, finally got a greek dvd? cost her quite a bit as well, but it is completely hatstand as they say.
anyone seen The Rainbow btw?

it is a national shame that he isnt making decent budget films any more instead of workmanlike shite like Love, Moran , Ritchie. i despair.

Yeah, Russell's filmography in the later years is a minefield to navigate thru... the last thing I saw of his was Whore, after that things get ever so desperate. I agree with Hamish, he was a film maker who was left fall into disrepair, although he says as much in his Altered States / A British Picture book (which I would highly recommend you seek out), finding himself a pariah after the failure of Valentino...

Gothic was better than it's tarnished reputation. Might make a good Arrow release. It improves with a repeat viewing.

One for the Gothic fans... Henry Fuseli's The Nightmare from 1781
