    Ive got a film night called Optic that will run monthly in Manchester.

    I'm the guy that set up The Evil Dead screening at cornerhouse and hopefully the screenings will return there (im just confirming one in may)

    Our first screening is at KRAAK gallery on Feb 2nd starting at 9pm.

Hello again, well the second installment of my blog has taken rather longer in coming than I had first hoped, and its on a totally different subject than Id intended. Ive decided to write down my thoughts (as a humble user) about high definition, specifically blu-ray, and list what I have found to be the pros and cons of the format. With the Arrow release of Dawn of the Dead on blu-ray looming hopefully this may help people to decide if the switch to HD is really worth it.

This is my first ever attempt at blogging, I've always wanted to have a go. As this is the blog section of a film board I guess Ill try to keep it relevant but I quite often enjoy going off on tangents so well see.

I thought it might be fun with my first blog to write a bit about some of the films that first got me to love the horror genre. These are films that I saw when I was about 15 and spent most of my weekends renting horror films with friends. We saw a lot of rubbish, Hellgate...
