It was an episode of Masters of Horror called "The Black Cat", which started Jefferey Combs as Edgar Allen Poe.

I watched a little film that was very, very loosely based on Poe. It was excellent.

E.A. Poe is also excellent if you love gothic horror!

You are most welcome. I actually received my submariners medal whilst in Tromso but six years later I was medically discharged after a car crash. I now work in a secondary school with children with a variety of problems. For my part, I think that Norway is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever visited and I would return at any time if I weren't so skint

Hi Daniel. I loved Norway when I went there on a submarine in 1987 but it was quite cold and expensive. we were stuck in Bodo for an extra week because we'd hit heavy weather in the North Sea and had to have a new Radar Mast flown out. We then went on to Tromso which is beautiful.
