I take solace in that fact that my rig once complete will probably be the most powerful device in the county. (That isn't saying much is it?)

Well I;ll have it working for after my exams at the end of Feb. I'm just pissed at the timing of this.

I'm not too bothered about Duke. It was just nice to be able to play without my back arched over a ****ing laptop / computer.

Wel if Ben has a laptop youll have no problem using eDuke-32 for the time being at least.

I'm looking at forums and reviews still and I'm going to ask around about it. I'm hoping Nvidia admits to the cockup so they can issue fixed cards (It's to do with the last 512 mb of VRAM, a big deal for SLIs apparentally) because it still looks like one of the best cards out there in terms of what you pay for.
