After picking up the Queen vinyl yesterday i decided to dig out some more from my vinyl collection. The first one i chose was Screaming Blue Murder by Girlschool. An album i bet i haven't heard since i was 18. Moving straight off a super slick Rob Zombie cd to an original Bronze label record from 1982 was a bit of a culture shock. However, a minute or so into it the warmth of the grooves shone through and everything felt right with the world for that twenty minutes of side one. |
