Odd one really. Due to the fact they sound the same i get them mixed up. I have all the albums both artists have recorded from Make them Die Slowly onwards. When i play Past Present and Future i have to think which song is by which group.

White Zombie are better, because Rob Zombie solo is a bit too industrial sounding for my liking.

Exactly why I prefer Rob's solo stuff!

I'm not a huge fan of either, but did listen to a fair bit of both during my youth.

I used to like industrial stuff, but only dirty sounding guitar stuff like NIN and Ministry. Stuff like Combichrist etc never really appealed to me.

When I stopped listening to them, I did manage to sell a complete (at the time) set of NIN Halo's (from Down In It up to And All That Could've Been ltd edition) including all multi part singles/versions, Broken 2CD, Closure VHS, And All... DVD, Deep single and Into The Void Aussie single for nearly £800.... which was nice.

I like most Industrial that I've come across. I like the more electro and EBM-based industrial like FLA, VAC, :Wumpscut: (and Combichrist ) etc though; easily my favourite sub-genres of music.

Nice!

I think I have all the Halo's up to Ghosts, barring The Fragile/With Teeth/Year Zero era singles. I don't think I could part with them, even if I don't listen to them as much as I used to.

Hmmm... I'm not so sure. Their last couple of albums were pretty dire. Better to burn out than to fade away, imo.

Although I do love this track from Houses of the Mole:

A nice sequel to Psalm 69's TV II!

I prefer that Ministry to all the older stuff. I can ignore all their albums before The Mind is a Terrible Thing to Taste. Although Stigmata is an excellent track.

Their recent output has tended to blend in with Rev Co's records to the extent i can't tell the difference.

To me Al has never bettered The Last Temptation of Reid by Lard.

Whilst I much prefer their earlier stuff, (their best period was definitely Rape & Honey -> Filth Pig, imo) I do like a bit of Lard. I Am Your Clock is a fantastic track.

I do have major love for Ministry's Animositisomina album, though too.
