Iron Maiden have been announced as one of the headliners at Download 2013

It seems that they are going to be 're-visiting' the "7th son of a 7th son" tour!

The other two headliners are Rammstein and Slipknot

Swap Iron Maiden for Rime of the Ancient Mariner and that is my top 5 Maiden tracks, with Hallowed being at number 1

Agreed, Maiden fans call the time from Piece of Mind to 7th son the Golden Era, and that is exactly what it is!

I watched some of Rock in Rio last night and left it to begin with The Clansman this evening.

Bruce's voice gets lost for the first few songs on that set.

.................

Have Maiden ever done a truly brilliant album?. Seventh Son is easily my favourite and is as near to perfect as they come. All the classic albums have at least one awful track on them.

Maiden are probably my favourite band of all time, so i'm not just being a knob with the question.
