Born on September 23, 1931, Hilly Kristel - the owner of CBGB's club in New York I'm sure everyone who reads this thread knows what CBGB's was - it was the venue that used to book punk bands when no one else wanted to know. Acts that appeared there include The Ramones, The Misfits, Television, Patti Smith Group, Mink DeVille, the Dead Boys, the Dictators, the Fleshtones, the Voidoids, the Cramps, the B-52's, Blondie, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts and Talking Heads.
