I remember Hurricane#1 and also bought their first album, the singer had a decent, gravelly rock voice. They're still knocking around on the live circuit too, mainly playing brit pop revival concerts etc.

From the setlists I've seen, the Ride set is wholly made up of their old stuff so whether they will write new material remains to be seen. This tour could just be to satisfy the tax man!!

Ha, this just popped up on my Facebook newsfeed, Hurricane #1 are playing at a festival a few miles away from me, didn't know they were still going either!

That's quite an impressive line up for Bingley. Worth it for Cast and Ash.

Just back from seeing Thurston Moore. He was fantastic and incredibly LOUD. Worked really well alongside his band which featured the drummer from Sonic Youth and the bassist from My Bloody Valentine
