Underworld 37.50
Therapy 28.50
Then Jericho 28
Peter kay 35
Saw 2 last year 2 this year.

Just greed on venue behalf,

I see pearl Jam tickets have come down to 92.50, bit of a come down from starting price of 125, still dear tho.
I know it was a long time ago, but a ticket for the first band I ever saw live - Madness in Southampton on December 20th, 1980 - cost me UK$3.50!

I use to collect all my stubs from concert and then stick them on back of bedroom door, but when I split up with my girlfriend at the time she ripped them all up and threw them in the bin. I had at least 30 plus, now I?d say I?ve seen over 100 groups, bands, etc, some twice, you wouldn?t even see a crap tribute band for that price these days, .

I used to keep my concert stubs stuck to my bedroom door as well, but then I had too many... and so I got a scrapbook where I put them (along with occasional flyers and reviews)

I?ve got a pre-sale for Edinburgh. It?s expensive but not as bad as I was expecting.

The Portsmouth Guildhall site is still saying tickets are UK$71.55, but maybe that is for one of the exclusive upgrades packages because a site called Songkick (which I am not familiar with) is stating they are much more acceptable - UK$49.50 ? UK$59.50

That?s pretty much in line with the Edinburgh prices so it might just be the highest tier at 70.

I?ve decided not to go anyway. I?m sure it?ll be fun but there are other ways to spend 70 plus travel and accommodation costs. Like getting more Blu-ray haha.

I know it's not the same experience but the way concerts are filmed you get to see a hell of a lot more of the band with a dvd / Blu than you do from the back of an arena. And the sound is usually better too.

Obviously there aren't any Cult ones available though.

I don't know why your reply reminded me, because it's only vaguely related. I keep meaning to pick up Motley Crue's 'The End' concert film
