As far as I'm aware he is,
Here what I found when I googled it,
Led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Kirk Brandon (formerly of The Pack), the original group also consisted of bassist Stan Stammers (formerly of The Straps and The Epileptics), saxophonist John "Boy" Lennard, guitarist Steve Guthrie and drummer Luke Rendle (formerly of Crisis and The Straps).

Halifax Peace Hall has some great shows on this summer.

June 7th / 9th - Blondie
13th - Sheryl Crow
16th - Nile Rogers and Chic
19th - Crowded House
22nd - Grace Jones
23rd - Bryan Adams
25th - Placebo
26th - Air

And that's just June. The rest of the summer includes Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Idles, Rick Astley, Tom Jones, Jess Glynne, Korn, Mcfly, Pixies, Status Quo, The Streets, PJ Harvey and more.

Co-op arena opened to general public tonight to a free concert so ppl could see it, but already loads of complaints about ppl being turned away or tickets getting cancelled an hour before it starts.
