What have you got, b_e?

For fear of going off topic again, being strapped in leg irons and marched away by The Inspector (i.e. a typical Friday night), I have: https://www.topgear.com/car-reviews/...-5dr/road-test (125bhp estate version).*

It's much faster than my old 1.8 Mondeo even with only having a 1 litre engine.

*Credit to The Inspector for the Top Gear name-drop. ;)

Latest.

Alice Cooper's Muscle of Love and the Kelly Willis album were 50p each from a charity shop.

The two three cd compilations are for the car and as for Bowie, well i'm slowly building my Bowie collection.

Susan Foreman 13th July 2019 05:53 PM

It's been a long time since I have seen any Alice in a charity shop!

Four new albums this week. - Mr. Big, Robert Plant and The Devil.

The Devil is very interesting. I was browsing the really cheap stuff on Music Magpie and noticed it for £1.69. I'd never heard of them but noticed they were on the Candlelight label which definitely gained my interest. Went on to YT, listened to a few tracks and it's brilliant. Really atmospheric metal, no vocals, just news footage over the music. It's something different and i snapped it up immediately. Disc is as new too.

There were two in stock when i did my order if anyone's interested.

The Devil - Devil and Mankind

Sounds more like latter day Pearl Jam than classic Soundgarden to my ears.

I suppose i was wishing for too much hoping it might be Badmotorfinger II.

That's poor.

I'd forgotten about it and only ordered it on Friday from Amazon along with a couple of other things, seeing as i needed to get free postage not having Prime.
