1 Attachment(s) From the local Air Ambulance shop. I had this when it first came out and played it to death, so much so that i eventually became bored with it and got rid of it. I hadn't noticed this until i was looking at the image to post - the cd case has been changed. The sticker doesn't relate to the album in question. Going off the sticker (Google is your friend) it would seem like the case was originally an album by Joe McElderry (Who?) |
He was a winner of The X-Factor if I remember correctly, he played at our theatre a few times, both in a solo capacity and playing 'Joseph' in the musical Jospeh and his Technicolour Dreamcoat  I was never a big Bryan Adams fan to be honest, his marathon stint at number one back in 1991/2 put me off him for life :D |

I've had it on today already and never got to that song. |
I didn't even realise that it was on that album  I might stream it this afternoon before the webinar I have to attend at 4pm, it might even be finished by then  |

Latest Album Bought I’m so surprised just how much this album does sound like Def Leppard even to the point where Bryan sounds like Joe in the vocals. Do I Have to Say the Words? Could easily be a Def Leppard song. I must admit I quite like it haha, not got to THE song yet though lol… |

1 Attachment(s) New Foo Fighters album. It's the first new release i've bought this year. Really fancy listening to it across this lazy warm weekend. Following my issue yesterday with not being allowed to buy it because it shouldn't have been put on the shelf i went back today and two of the five cd's had been sold. I bought another two (A copy for someone else as well) and a guy in a Quo t-shirt looking at dvd's asked me what it was and when i told him the new Foo Fighters he bought the last one. |

Everyone knows my feelings with Metallica but some people I really respect have said it's a really good album and these people are as pig headed and narrow minded as me 😂 |

The three songs i've already heard - the ones listed on the cover - have stuck with me since hearing them. It's because of this i've bought it. There have been moans from the mags that there are no ballads. FFS! I'm making sure that new Foo Fighters gets some plays before starting on Metallica. |

Unforgiven is one of the best songs Metallica have recorded so I can see where they are coming from. That being said I haven’t enjoyed a Metallica album since Load. I’m being stubborn I know but I’m not even going to check this one out. |
1 Attachment(s) It's not often i find albums on the Earache label in the local Air Ambulance shop so getting this in 'as new' condition from Lancaster's finest, Massive Wagons, was a definite buy. |
I've never heard of them, what's the music like? I know that Earache had a period of moving slightly away from the extreme side of things and signed a few alt. bands. |

You won't like them! Massive Wagons - Tokyo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mD9CXZTpY5s Full Nelson (2018) |

Picked up an expanded version of Moondance by Van Morrison, 2 cd digipack etc. From the Xtian place ... £1. |
We got some records in. Mostly blues, though some oddities thrown in ... Joni Mitchell etc. In amongst them was a Linn Records copy of The Blue Nile's A Walk Across The Rooftops. Mine. £5. I also picked up Abba's new one Voyage at the Xtian place ... £1. Immaculate. |
Picked up a vinyl copy of Unconditionally Guaranteed, a Captain Beefheart album. Thyis being one of two records that he made in the mid '70s that were more "conventional" sounding ahem. I always preferred this to the other attempt ahem. It still has some blinders on it imho. Happy Demon. £5. -NM. |
It came! Redskins - Neither Washington Nor Moscow (4cd set) Contains various extras, a live set, b sides etc etc. Will listen to this until I find something else .... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qJbGpKyzoU |
