Let's hope so.

With the film being public domain it's certainly a possibility.

I have a feeling that Dr Strangelove will too, as with Easy Rider which is on the Sony Classics label already in the UK and still in print.

Bought Tootsie and Only Angels Have Wings yesterday.

I hope Carnival of Souls will be released here - still have the Mystery Science Theater 3000 DVD (B&W and colorized) somewhere with the gag commentary. I watched Macbeth on Sunday night - I've never been so wrapped in a film never mind Shakespeare for a long time. It happened the other Night was amazing too, I was giggling throughout it anyway!
Welcome to the UK Criterion! :welcome:

Ps a lot of the UK Criterions are now down around the £14.50 mark from 3rd party sellers on Amazon I noticed.

It'll no doubt be the same Sony master but may differ on the extras.

I think it's a new 4K scan actually.

Dr Strangelove? I have two Blu-ray releases already but, as it's one of my all-time favourite films, I would definitely buy it again.
