Both versions have their merits and their problems. If I go for a released copy to view, I will probably grab the RetroFilm disc because I hate the missing footage on Mya's. My preference is to watch the re-authored version of the Mya disc which has the audio pitch-corrected and added English subtitles (translated from the Italian). Even though the small pieces are still missing, this is a much better version.

A local 2nd hand DVD shop has bought a collection of about 100 + German steel box sets. He's about 40 odd left.
Among them is Alien, The Ultimate Collectors Ed. Does anyone know if its cut.?
Sorry I dont know the label as the shop is tiny , my living rooms bigger, and they're pilled up in groups or bunged tight on shelve's , and everythings so close stuff gets knocked over easily. I haven't been there yet were me or SRGT Harry havent knocked a pile dvds over.

Is 8 quid cheap for these German steel boxsets.?
