I bought THE MAD MAGICIAN (1954) a few days back from AmazonDe which rarely gets screened on tv (I recall one showing on Channel 4 YEARS ago).Quite a decent if pretty short Vincent Price offering which contains a circular sawblade decapitation years before Franco got in on the act with BLOODY MOON.The front sleeve oddly depicts Price in Fall Of The House Of Usher but the other side contains the correct artwork for the film in question (Probably lost the film a few buyers this sleeve).Out on a MOD disc in early July in the states but the German pressed disc looks pretty good & is English friendly though the titles are in German.Worth a buy for Price fans many who may have never even seen it. http://www.amazon.de/Magier-Schrecke...0734656&sr=8-4 |
