Just checked and it's not playing on my Sony blu ray player either. This is the third 88 films blu ray that I can't get to play ( the other two being TOURIST TRAP and ESKIMO NELL ). I thought at first it was my player, but I've had no problems with any other BDs, so now I'm wondering if it's a fault with some of 88's discs?

Is it a oldish player might be as simple as needing firmware updated

Yeah - it's about 4 or 5 years old, so a firmware update was something I'd been considering. I thought it was weird it was all discs from the same company, but I'm guessing that's not unusual?

It could be a firmware issue. When did you last update your player?

No they might be using some format that's newer and older players have problems

It is an excellent Blu-ray player and media centre, but I'm really glad I have my cheap Blu-ray player set to Region A for the Criterion and other North American region coded discs.
