They do look nice don't they?

Have you seen the films? Flesh Eating Mothers is well, you can probably guess, and The Suckling i've never seen but i do recall it being on VIPCO as Sewage Baby. It won't be good but it might tempt me as the artwork is cool.

I've yet to see either, however with them being Troma fare my expectations have been set, plus I've seen clips of them on numerous trailer reels over the years. I was able to lock in some cheap pre-order prices on Amazon a while back (£8.85 a piece) so thought I may as well take a punt.

I have seen both many times and pre ordered. Needless to say it's the original artwork for both for me,the reverse looks dreadful.

For those not having seen the movies all I can say Is they are both "fun" but low budget trash best viewed when needing a laugh rather than a scare, very controversial especially the Suckling in content however so haphazardly portrayed you'd have to be far right wing & a solvent abuser to be offended.

For many these are probably one time viewings! but do need to be seen to be believed. Only hardcore fans of low rent trash & idiots like me would watch them regularly.

hope this helps fence sitters.

I'm about to preorder both direct from the 88 store.

"Friday 13th Announcement!

Two Hollywood Heavyweights together in a Courtroom!

Gary Oldman and Kevin Bacon star in Criminal Law released on DVD & Blu-ray 12th September.

Ben Chase (Gary Oldman) is an on-the-rise Boston attorney currently defending a wealthy client in a high profile murder case. Martin Thiel (Kevin Bacon) is the wealthy young man on trial for a particularly brutal murder. The verdict sets Thiel free. Within 24 hours another grizzly and all-too-familiar murder has taken place with striking similarities to the first crime. Chase inexplicably agrees to act as his defense attorney; but this time it will be to gather evidence that will put away his client for good. But who’s manipulating who in this edge-of-your-seat thrill ride?"

Indiegogo - 88 Films Italian Collection Restoration Project

"Following on from the success of 2014’s remaster Zombie Holocaust and Burial Ground fan-funding project we’re back with a much more ambitious project...

This time the ultimate goal is to remaster 4 classic Italian exploitation films in 2K resolution!

Absurd (1981), Dir Joe D'Amato
Massacre in Dinosaur Valley (1985), Dir Michele Massimo Tarantini
Aenigma (1987). Dir Lucio Fulci
Beyond the Darkness (1979), Dir Joe D'Amato"

That level 3, £180 for all the Italian collection plus absurd and (potentially) the other 3 would be a cracking deal if I didn't already have them all! Lol.

Yeah, I doubt there are a lot of people who are interested in the restoration of the 4 films who don't have some or all of the already released titles.
