Was wondering if they'd use the UK artwork on the reverse [emoji2]

Has anyone ever suggested the Slumber Party Massacre trilogy for the Slasher Classics collection? I’d love that.

I suspect lots of people have suggested it to 88 - it seems like a good fit. The last outfit to release it on DVD in the UK was Prism in 2004. They submitted it to the BBFC again in 2010 and its available to stream on Amazon Prime, using the same artwork as the DVD to advertise it. This leads me to suspect that Prism (aka Thorn-EMI Screen Entertainment, Prism Leisure Corp PLC, Nouveaux Pictures, Enterprise Pictures Ltd) still hold the UK rights.

EDIT: Also noticed a DVD release by an outfit called In2Film which released a DVD in 2010 in the 'Roger Corman Collection' again using the same artwork. I think In2Film is likely to be another label of the above company group.

It’s funny that some labels seem to have the rights to films for years and years but others, for example 88 recently where - I think it was with Piranha 2 - they said they only had the rights for one year after which it’ll be considered OOP.

Yes it was weird to find it on the BBFC under a 2010 listing as Thorn EMI pretty much ceased to exist in 1986 (the film library eventually ended up with studiocanal). I suspect the rights to the name have simply passed from one distribution organisation to another down the years without actually being used again as a label.

Just watched Moon in Scorpio. If buyer's remorse were a blu ray, it'd look like this. The THC commentary starts with the words, "now I've seen this film before. Unfortunately"

Anyone else seen it?
