This just reminded me of something. I was working for a little old dear the other day. June, she's about 130 and has a little dog. She scraped together some change to pay me but was a bit worried because she knew she had more cash but couldn't find it. Finally i managed to helped her find her handbag which had a twenty in it. She says to me "thats my doggin money!". Probably doesn't seem funny now to you lot, but to me and her clearly pervy neighbour Greville it was hilarious. She just meant it was money to pay for her dogs food.
Yeah....you had to be there...

Just ordered Thriller.

Is Tales of the Unexpected worth buying?
And the Edgar Wallace boxset? Does it contain everything?

I'm 99% sure it's just the volumes 1 - 7 and not the individual films.

I think Tales is well worth getting. I'm nowhere near finishing it and i've had it a few years now, although it's not like i watch them regularly. I tend to have spells where i'll watch a few then leave it a while.

Damn you Jack Daniels! I've just gone and ordered another 7 films.

Currently got these in my basket

All would be blind buys, anyone seen or recommend anything here? Particularly the Mystery and Imagination set?

Mystery and Imagination is really good and Quatermass is excellent (well, in my opinion at least). I have Casting the Runes but haven't watched it yet... M. R. James is usually a safe bet though.

On the topic of Tales of the Unexpected, does anyone remember an episode involving a body being hidden behind a wall? Its vague i know, i was a kid at the time and it scared the crap out of me for weeks. All i remember is someone hacking the plaster off and finding a body wrapped up in plastic.
