They?re going for that Criterion aesthetic but not really pulling it off

I actually quite like that photo. It makes the film look a little intriguing.

I do to, I think that the layout of the font and text makes it look a bit amateur. I've never seen it myself but I do want to watch it

I think you'll like it. It's creeky and of it's time period but all the more enjoyable for it.

It's also interesting that it's obvious that Tim Burton was influenced by this film for his shooting technique around the cityscapes in Batman (1989). The panning up and down the model buildings is a bit of a steal.
