Wow, really? Sainsburys now have the odd Arrow title in bigger stores, got Hellraiser trilogy for £20 from them.

As mentioned elsewhere the Sainsbury's releases aren't full on editions.

I got Arrow's Hellraiser Trilogy and Withnail and I limited edition with How to get ahead in Advertising from Sainsbury's. It's a shame they're sending all these watered down "smart price" editions into supermarkets. I suppose it'll be more revenue for the labels, and the movies will be picked up by folk who maybe wouldn't ordinarily buy such titles, but it'll make picking up second hand full fat releases from the likes of eBay a bit more tricky, when you're generally buying the release based on a photograph and can't really get a good close look at the box. 5,000 I think. Some of the other titles are limited to 3,000 (e.g the Poitier titles), however they're not expected to be as bigger sellers.

5000 seems a lot to have sold out so soon. they are quite niche titles, especially 10 Rillington Place. perhaps i'm underestimating their popularity?

I think it's more the case that they've sold out with Powerhouse. Online retailers such as Amazon, HMV and Zavvi will be carrying a certain amount of inventory stock but it will be a case of when they've sold it through then that will be it.
