I really liked 'The White Reindeer" and agree it 's another film that deserves a U.K release, i've only got the dvd and that's going for around £30 on Amazon now.
Madness i tells ya.

I don't dislike both Unamable films. Got them on a two disc dvd from Anchor Bay.

If i was blu compatible i don't think they'd be ones i'd want to upgrade though.

I bought a second-hand copy the Angel Guts boxset, released by the US arm of Arts Magic, many years ago and I don't think that I've ever watched any of the films. Must get around to that!

I think that one of my favourite DVD releases of a Japanese film of that ilk was the Discotek/Eastern Star release of Norifumi Suzuki's Star of David - Beautiful Girl Hunter. I can't remember much about it all these years later other than it was quite transgressive and an amazing film. I would love to see some of Norifumi Suzuki's films given good Blu-ray releases.

FLICKER ALLEY are to release restored versions of The Man Who Laughs and The Last Warning in 2019 - dates to be announced.
