I wonder if the print will be the widescreen version or the full screen edition released on the screamtime collection.

Let's hope it's a legit release of the full uncut version at last. The 23rd Century and widescreen AG Plate DVDs were of highly dubious origin. Neither of which were official or released with BBFC approval.

That's a very common spelling mistake.

I think i'll check JEF's website as Blackhorse's release list is available there. See what goodies they have planned for the next few months, if any.

I picked up the Blackhorse release of SS Experiment Camp in a 2nd hand shop a few weeks ago. Uncut but a grainy fullscreen VHS transfer.

They're mainly remembered for their Jenna Jameson DVD's.

The BBFC have just passed House by the Cemetery uncut for the first time.

Arrow will be releasing it in April.

Glad Arrow have got the rights-perhaps they'll give it the treatment it finally deserves in the UK.

Interesting! IF they add a few extras (like a movie critic's audio commentary or something like that) I'll be tempted to upgrade from my Dutch DVD.

Another minor issue with "House by the Cemetery":
Will it be presented in its familiar international release version or the (SUPPOSEDLY) "restored version", which came out via EC Entertainment as a Limited SE a few years back?

That version apparently "corrected" the order of some scenes, which have- for whatever reason- switched their place in the widely known cut of the movie....as if anybody would notice!

As I was too lazy/slow to pick up this SE at the time of its release (an "Ultrabit DVD", if I recall correctly), it would be marvellous if the upcoming UK release would contain this "restored version"- so I could keep my old DVD with the original release cut as a "bonus"....

That's the DVD I'm talking about:

Arrow will do a decent job print wise I should think.I was very happy with their nice looking release of the decent Tobe Hooper horror The Funhouse.I'd have bought Deadly Blessings but the nice looking Aussie r0 disc has a Wes Craven commentary.I'm afraid going on past releases like the above, people expecting extras on HBTC may be disappointed, though I hope I'm wrong. I'm happy with the first Anchor Bay release I have.
