I think Starlight will probably end up re releasing the cut VIPCO version of NOTD on they're Beyond Terror label , as they've another few ex VIPCO titles lined up for Feb/March.

It would be a pity if they do without submitting the full print to the BBFC first.

Companies like this just make it pointless for others to release decent versions of the films. Shame really.

It is.,
Hopfully the superior versions of titles like HBTC and COTLD wont suffer because of these cheap , poor quality releases of the same title being spat out to try make a quick buck from casual instore buyers and younger fans new to the genre.

The Cornerstone discs are £10 in my Local HMV, exaclty the same price as the Arrow discs.

I know what I prefer to buy!

Also I have just been looking at the prices some people are charging for some of the old Vipco discs on Amazon:

Zombie Creeping Flesh £49.99
Shock Waves £54.90
Bronx Warriors 1 & 2 set - £49.99
Nightkill £45.00
Gremloids £25.94
Night of the Demon £24.95

Jesus H.
Most I ever paid for a Vipco coaster was 20 quid for SHOCK WAVES.

Fifty quid for ZCF?

Bargain! I have mixed feelings about the Vipco label: on one hand, I hate them for their manipulative, 'this film is the uncut version - do not watch' dire quality antics, but I love them equally for their bargain basement intro and video nasty catalogue.

At the time, you were pretty much limited for what you could buy before the WWW took off,so they served a purpose.
But no,you can't fault them for their catalogue or artwork.

Their (unreleased) VHS of Night Of The Bloody Apes was part of the collection. Terrific sleeve but the film is cut to ribbons and the print looks like it's been spin-dried.
