Watched CR's RITUALS last night and it's well worth the upgrade!

It's the first time I've actually been able to clearly see what's happening onscreen at the climax!

Those are all Scorpion titles, Reaps.

Aside from Screams of a Winter Night, Forced Entry, Blackout and the forthcoming re-release of Just Before Dawn, Code Red have been very quiet on the release front lately. Bill's Cartel was pulled, he was in a spat with Ronin and his health is not good - apparently he's on the waiting list for a kidney transplant and undergoing dialysis. His business is currently being 'run' by someone else under the Dark Force Entertainment monikor, which if you check out the trash-fire that is the thread over at blu-rage seems a bit of a dick (not that old Bill was a saint himself!)

Anyone seen Shredder? The cover makes it look awesome, however I am very wary of slashers made in 2001.

I have Shredder, b_e.

I initially bought it as a UK disc which is cut so bought the US one as a replacement. Seen it a few times as i like slasher films. It's not the greatest and certainly not the bloodiest but i kinda like it although i do enjoy snow bound horror films.

I suppose it's no better or worse than most of the stuff from the eighties.

Thanks for the feedback Dem - I may have to give it a shot.

Maybe just me, but I generally prefer the teen aesthetic from the '70s and the '80s more than the '90s, '00s etc. I find the 90s-00s slasher teens more annoying and douchey (if that's even a word) and it often spoils the film to varying degrees for me.

Oh, they are definitely of the OO's 'snowboard dude' aesthetic.

If it's available at around a tenner then perhaps give it a go but don't chuck £25 at it.
