I don't believe that there has been a blu-ray release of The Etruscan Kills Again either, so that would be a positive selling point. I also believe that the old Code Red DVD was slightly censored as well, so it would be nice to have an uncut HD version on disc.
Code Red did reissue it on Blu-ray.

I didn't realise that. I assume that they used the same censored American master though as the source.

I honestly don't know.

But there's no cuts according to dvdcompare.

Rewind @ www.dvdcompare.net - Dead Are Alive! (The) AKA The Etruscan Kills Again (Blu-ray) (1972)

The Code Red DVD is cut although there is no mention of that on DVDcompare either, so I'm just making the assumption that the blu-ray also uses the cut US master. I could be wrong though.

Anyone picked up case of the scorpions tail yet? Does it have the "Sergo Martino" spelling mistake or has that been corrected?

It was corrected within seconds of the mistake coming to light. Artwork at the time of announcements generally hasn’t undergone the same rigorous proofreading as the final version.

I will amend the dvd listing I added & mention the cuts to the sex scene of 20 seconds (Info on DVD BEAVER).Not seen the Blu-ray so I'll leave that until confirmed.Remember though it will still be listed as 'uncut' as it's the 'R' version as originally shown in US cinemas.Similar to CHATO' LAND only getting a 'PG' release in the states theatrically with alternate footage & reductions to the violence.

Think I saw that back in the early 90s, if it's the one where their heads get spun round I found it almost 'so bad it's good' but back then I passed on buying the VHS import so may side with Dem on this one.
