Aside from that Australian film there isn't a single thing they haven't released previously on Blu-ray.

very underwhelming. CONT is not a great movie by anyone's standards let alone Argento so not sure it deserves LE treatment. i might just wait for the standard edition to upgrade to the 4K scan.

I wish they’d give the same LE treatment to Opera

I don't particularly rate Cat either, although has a few interesting set pieces, but obviously for completion purposes I'll have to buy this one

Re-releases (most i cant buy anyway as region A) galore, lol! Only CONT for me (when hmv pre order goes live).

Very underwhelming, but that's good as other companies are putting out loads more! Arrow are reminding me of Anchor Bay (HOW many versions of Halloween, Hellraiser & Evil Dead did they put out?). Ironically, for all the releases it's had, I wonder why Battle Royale hasn't been given the deluxe 4k box set treatment yet?

Yep! That or Tenebrae are probably the 2 most worth the extra mile in the argento catalogue

I love Cat O' Nine Tails so will pick up 4K mastered bd on launch day (it's also my wife's fave Argento movie). Prior blu-rays had heavy scanner noise so a proper release will be appreciated. I think it's a really under-rated giallo. I find myself raising my eyebrows when Argento states that it is his least favourite film (he seems to think that it is too American-ised). It has great performances from two quality lead actors, and Gigi the loser is a really fun character. The night time sequence where Malden enters the crypt and suddenly comes across as a threatening 'red herring' is a quality moment. Only thing that lets it down is the bizarre criminal chromosome plot! btw Really looking forward to the Jones/Newman commentary track. Love it when that pair are teamed up.
