I'll get The Honeymoon Killers at some point. Got no interest in the other stuff. Never even heard of Jacques Rivette.

Your not alone! I had to look on wiki to find out who he is and what the film/s are. I can understand Arrow tackling the package but it does nothing for. I hope Thursdays announcement is a bit more exciting, sleazy and possibly horrific.

So going from Arrows FB hints and Twitter the other week have we got two 'large' boxsets due to be announced on Thursday or was Rivette set 'the' big announcement?

Judging from their tone on Facebook (upbeat and proud), I'm guessing the Jacques Rivette set was the 'marquee announcement'.

I am incredibly excited for the Rivette set, I pre-ordered it immediately. What's odd is that I've recently been getting into him and bought like 8 of his films on DVD (none of which feature in the Arrow set) so it's great timing.

Don't forget, the Rivette is Arrow Academy, you're all acting like Arrow Video is changing its style which it is not. They've already said they recently signed a load of gialli and horror films that are yet to be announced.

Well good for them! Sadly its something I have no interest in, other people like sjconstable do which is great. I do wonder if they'll sell the full 3000 copies though? With Vice been announced last month I wonder if Arrow will have picked up any other previous NoShame titles, during their day NoShame had some amazing releases with fabulous picture quality.

The no shame giallo titles would be very welcome and Dark Waters needs a uk re-release.

I don't think anyone said anything like that, just that it's not the type of films they'd watch, or have even heard of. Most folks here are horror/cult movie fans, and it's understandable stuff like this won't appeal to the majority of us here.

What about the dual UK/US announcements on Thursday?

I'd be very interested in the Jacques Rivette set. I've only seen a handful of his films, Celine and Julie Go Boating is an all time favourite film, so this set does interest me, however the cost is definitely putting me off.

I do like The Honeymoon Killers but as I already have it on dvd I'll wait until it's cheap to pick up the blu.
